Dinner at the Willowbank Wildlife Reserve near Christchurch. Pretty fancy for a nature park. The giant thing that looks like a rabbit is really a boiled ham-hock served over New Zealand’s sweet potato, the Kumara. The other dish was lamb rump broiled and served with potatoes, peas and feta cheese. The dessert was a Pavlova … traditional New Zealand dessert. It’s a merengue served with kiwi fruit preserves, vanilla custard and whipped cream.
